Pat Mc Gowan Transport Ltd was established in 1986 by Pat Mc Gowan himself, and one lorry. The main function of the company was to transport fish from Co Donegal to Europe, Scandinavia, the Balkans and the Eastern bloc, as it was known then. Since then, the business has developed and grown. We now have a modern fleet of 18 trucks, 30 refrigerated trailers which deliver to Ireland, UK, Europe, and further afield.
In 2012 we progressed the business into Ambient storage to facilitate one of our valued customers. In 2018, in order to keep up with the changes in industry and to continue meeting high standards, Pat Mc Gowan Transport Ltd built a new storage facility to include a chilled and frozen storage service. The business continues to be family orientated with 3 family members working in various departments. Our team has grown in numbers, expertise and professionalism. We retain a consistently efficient personal service so we can continue to meet our customers ever changing needs. Keeping the fleet updated, recruiting excellent drivers and working hard has seen our friendly, Donegal company go from strength to strength.
